Position Description: Military intelligence analyst / Threat planner/Devils Advocate - TRADOC G2 Synopsis: The United States Army Training and Doctrine Command?s (TRADOC) Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (DCSINT) provides strategic, operational, tactical and program analysis for the Future Force to address potential vulnerabilities and exploitable characteristics for Current Operational Environment (COE). The Devils Advocate effort is intended to assess ongoing objective force development. The strategy/program will provide rigor and challenge to the Army's transformation initiatives and other related activities. Basic Functions: The contractor's objective is to provide high-quality, timely products and services that support TRADOC's effort to direct the Army's transformation in the 21st Century. The contractor shall provide military and program analysis who respond to the technical direction of the DCSINT. Personnel supporting this effort shall be versed in DCSINTs and TRADOC's missions. They shall have a thorough and complete understanding of planning, integrating, and conducting staff action procedures, and operational aspects of how TRADOC and DCSINT work. The contractor shall work on-site in the DCSINT office at FT Monroe, VA. The contractor shall take direction, instruction, and guidance from the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - The contractor shall leverage its experience, expertise, and ongoing activities to provide DCSINT support in the most responsive, efficient, and economical way. The contractor should provide a broad perspective on developments throughout the defense community and assign DCSINT the best possible people to work with DCSINT personnel in applying their resources in the most effective and efficient ways possible. - As required, the contractor shall provide short turn around analytical support of concepts, insights, and findings. - Perform open-source, on-line/library research as needed. - Identifies additional critical tasks and perform them as needed and required. - Direct responsibility for executing Red Team Coordination Cell (RTCC) activities in support of TRADOC. - Responsibility for managing cell operations; developing plans and Red Team policies facilitating internal/external communication; and scheduling, de-conflicting Red Team events. - Defining TRADOC Red Team requirements (planning and execution) for RTCC operations plans in support of concepts. - Providing Red Team technical and administrative support to DCSINT panels and working groups, staff coordination meetings, video-teleconferences, integrated product teams (IPT), and working groups at various levels. - Providing a full range of Red Team support for quick-reaction responses to operational, technical, and programmatic taskings. - Assisting DCSINT in preparing Red Team responses and briefings related to DCSINT issues. - Analysis of DCSINT initiatives to assure Red Team follows an open architecture and common operating environment. - Designation of a Red Team lead action officer for integrating Red Team support into the requirements and activities of specific concepts and Integrated Concept Teams (ICT). - Coordination of Red Team participation in workshops, seminars, wargames, and ICTs. - Provision of general, military, scientific, and technical intelligence expertise. - Coordination and conduct of an annual Red Team conference - Accredited Bachelor's degree with recent experience in military exercise planning, plus 20 years military operational experience. - Former military with military intelligence experience branch of service immaterial. - Joint/International/Multi-Agency Exercise / Experiment Planning Experience or Joint/Service Test and Evaluation experience. - Possess computer literacy for on-line research and desktop office applications. - Considerable Experience with Combatant Command Processes Highly Desired. - Active TS/SCI clearance required.
