(TSTZ9 Customer Site Huntsville, AL) The candidate will provide direct support to the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Modeling and Simulation Division of the System Engineering Directorate (GME-M) of the GMD Joint Program Office. Tasks include: - Provide technical support and expertise to the GMD Performance Assessment Lead for all use cases for GM Models and Simulations - Collaborate with all end users to define GM M&S needs - Generate a requirements specification to meet use cases for an end-to-end suite of GM M&S - Lead configuration control of a requirements database - Coordinate with external organizations to identify future requirements - Help to develop and oversee execution of software test plans as part of the verification process - Coordinate with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) M&S Directorate (DES) to identify derived model requirements. - Ensure adherence to all GM and MDA policies and procedures that impact GM M&S planning, development, and evolution. - Coordinate and lead reviews with MDA, GM prime and subs, as well all external organizations in regard to implementation of the GM M&S strategy to develop a plug and play model capability. - Prepare correspondence and assemble staff packages that support presentation to the GME technical staff and GM executive leadership. - Apply Systems Engineering best practices and utilize SE tools to facilitate above tasks - Exceptional attention to detail and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: - Knowledge of GM Tactical System and/or GM M&S.
