Please visit http://www.stanleyassociates.com for more information. The Technician will perform assembly and solder joints in accordance with IPC-610 standards, must understand the hand soldering process and make judgments concerning good and bad solder joints and be able to read and understand engineering documentation.Specific Duties:• Assemble electronic component/parts per work instructions • Using various manual/power tools and machinery to assemble component to circuit boards • Solder components/wires to circuit boards • Repair or build cables according to engineering drawings • Operate contact machine • Operate coating machine • Perform paint touch up on repaired units • Conduct quality verification • Perform material handling duties Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years directly related work experience required.Additional Requirements:• Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment. • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required. Preferred Skills:• J-STD-001 Certification, familiar with IPC-A-610D and IPC-A-620 standards Location: Redstone Arsenal, AL 35809 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Installation/Maintenance/Repair Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
