The Learning and Development Business Partner will work as part of the Learning & Development team to support multiple business areas within the organization. The primary responsibility for this role is to work as a liaison with senior management to define and execute tailored learning strategies across the business area. In this client facing role, the candidate must exhibit strong relationship management skills with the ability to develop and maintain a learning culture through strategic thinking and needs planning, gathering and analyzing development for the organization, and designing and implementing learning interventions with focused learning practices. The candidate should be able to: Develop a strategic partnership with business area leaders through the understanding of Business Area strategies and exhibit the ability to understand how the business strategy affects the operations of the Learning and Development Department. Partner with Business Area Leadership to drive training needs analysis with the ability to analytically understand the data to formulate a Skills Gap Analysis. Design, develop and execute Learning Interventions that align to Business Area strategies. Capture course development requirements and outline Design Plans as necessary (which may include requests for proposals from external suppliers). Perform as a communication vehicle to HR, and the Business Areas to provide timely communication regarding L&D process/procedure updates. Collaborate with HR Business Partners across the enterprise to ensure calibration and consistent rollout of Corporate Initiatives. Required MS Office Possesses interpersonal and communication skills appropriate to the audience including the ability to identify and use position-specific language and terminology.
