Shall support the Training Branch, Operations Division (OPS), JIEDDO. Individual shall serve as the Training Branch, Operations Division, Joint IED Defeat Organization?s (JIEDDO) principal coordinator in all matters relating to inter-agency training support. The contractor shall establish communication and identify points of contact in all agencies outside of DoD that maintain equities in the C-IED and irregular warfare arena. This will be strictly within the limits of JIEDDO, DOD and US Government guidelines and directives. The contractor?s primary goal is to assist, as required, the training effort of non-DoD government agencies - when requested. Daily communications, both written and verbal, will include one-on-one contact with all levels of military and civilian international hierarchy. Will work primarily independently, but is often required to be a member of small teams on large, complicated projects. Military background or work history is a requirement. Work environment is extremely busy and often time-critical. This position may require minimum travel and attendance at conferences. Duties include: 1. Establish and maintain contact with all relevant U.S. government agencies. 2. Determine if Counter-IED training is required by the agencies. 3. Propose Courses of Action for JIEDDO to assist the agencies with their C-IED training. 4. Participate in applicable forums, dealing with other government agencies, involving the conduct of training needs assessments and the development of C-IED training. 5. Represent Training at all meetings, VTC?s etc. that deal with the non-DoD government agencies. 6. Provide budget inputs to the Training Budget Coordinator as may be required. 7. Complete all other assigned tasks as directed by Training leadership. ? Accredited BS Degree ? Active Security Clearance, with eligibility to obtain higher level clearance. ? Military background or work history as well as related work with other government agencies. Six plus (6+) years in operations, training, joint and other government environment. Thorough understanding of military organizations, roles and missions. Specialized experience in the joint military training environment including C-IED experience. Experience working with Homeland Defense, FBI, CIA or other inter-agencies is desirable. Training in analytical and evaluative techniques. Ability to conduct complex studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational training programs and organizational training principles and practices. Competency with MS programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel.
