Please visit http://www.stanleyassociates.com for more information. The Information Technology Resource Provider (ITRP) program provides training to a wide range of employees at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia. Stanley Associates is looking for a experienced teachers/trainers who are computer savvy are welcome to apply. Good communication skills, customer service skills, and teamwork skills are a must.   Specific Duties:• The successful candidate will be responsible for varying aspects of instructional systems development in a fast-paced and innovative environment. • ITRPs are expected to provide classroom training, phone, or desk-side assistance for the USPTO government staff. • ITRPs will also begin to use eLearning tools to provide training and assistance. Bachelor Degree Science, English, Education, or an Information Technology related field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience are required.Additional Requirements:• Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment. • Ability to successfully complete a Government Agency Background Investigation/Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.  • Familiarity with adult learning theories • Teaching experience in an adult environment • Customer service oriented • Basic Computer skills including Microsoft • PowerPoint • Good communication and presentation skills • Must be able to work a given class schedule (some classes may start as early as 7:30 AM or finish as late as 5PM). Preferred Skills:• Experience with technical writing or editing • Experience with developing distance learning or e-learning modules • Experience with developing education materials • Experience with remote access and collaboration software and/or hardware  Location: Alexandria, VA 22301 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Education/Training Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
