This is a full-time position at the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), at customer site. The candidate will provide functional expertise to test and evaluation personnel, and will serve as a member of an Operational Test and Evaluation team to help prepare test plans including developing meaningful test measures, will go with the team to the test sites to collect and analyze data, and will assist in the preparation of reports and provide expertise in the areas of financial management and accounting and related areas such as travel planning and reimbursement, civilian and/or military personnel systems, or payroll processes as appropriate. The candidate may also serve as a member of a team that assesses various DoD systems for compliance with Federal Financial Management Requirements. Candidate will participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, various working groups, and teleconferences. Travel may be required in support of tasks; travel will generally be up to 25% of task hours but may exceed that amount during test periods. The Candidate will be expected to work a normal 40-hour week with up to 60 hours (compensated) during surge periods to meet programmatic milestones. Required MS Word 4+ Years with HS or 1+ Years with AA In-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition and testing process, particularly familiarity with the DoD 5000 series and CJCSI 6212.01D /or subsequent guidance documents. Skilled at briefing to users and management personnel in a technical environment. Interviewing skills. Ability to speak and write effectively and ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Desired Experience with finance and accounting related systems such as DDRS, DTS, DCPS, DCAS, STARS-FL is desirable. Skill with other Microsoft applications, such as Excel and Access is strongly desired. A good working knowledge and experience with modern relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle), communications protocols (i.e., TCP/IP), system architectures (e.g., client/server), or test and evaluation experience is helpful but not required.
