Please visit http://www.stanleyassociates.com for more information. Provide engineering support on behalf of the U.S Army Aviation and Missile Command - G-4 Environmental Division.  Located at Redstone Arsenal Alabama, individual will assist multiple installations with process and engineering requirements, involving industrial operations, environmental compliance, and/or large scale maintenance activities.  Candidate will apply LEAN and Six Sigma manufacturing methodologies and engineering principles to ensure environmental compliance, conservation, and the reduction of industrial wastes and by-products.Specific Duties:• Prepare plant layouts, process and economic analysis, and engineering specifications to enhance quality control and reduce industrial wastes and by-products. •  Perform Energy and Environmental Conservation activities related to industrial operations. •  Conduct market surveys for capital equipment to improve and ensure continual environmental compliance. •  Apply LEAN and Six Sigma manufacturing principles to optimize resources and provide continuous improvements in environmental stewardship and customer value. •  Prepare information briefings and presentations to communicate environmental compliance and industrial wastes issues. •  Travel to various locations to participate in on-site visits, and technical conferences when required. Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience required.Additional Requirements:• Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment. • Possession of an INTERIM SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required. • Use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Access, Word, Excel, Power Point), AutoCAD and Project. Preferred Skills:• Prefer Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial Engineer, manufacturing experience required. • Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
