COMPANY CENTRA Technology (“CENTRA”), founded in 1985 originally as Defense Group, Inc., is a leading provider of security, analytic, technical and engineering services to the US government. CENTRA is privately-held and operates primarily from two offices: Burlington, MA (company headquarters) and Arlington, VA. Most of CENTRA’s well trained staff, today numbering over 330, hold top secret security clearances; over half possess advanced degrees, many have lived in foreign countries and speak multiple languages.
CENTRA is lead by an exceptional team of executives: Dr. Harold Rosenbaum, CENTRA’s Founder, CEO and Chairman, brings more than 40 years of high tech defense experience. OBJECTIVE
The CENTRA Director, Corporate Security, will manage all aspects of the CENTRA Security Program, including Program Security, Personnel Security, and Physical Security, through the supervision and use of existing Security Department staff in Arlington, VA and Burlington, MA.
RESPONSIBILITES
The Director, Corporate Security will:
· Manage all apects of the CENTRA Security Program, including but not limited to: personnel clearance processing; visitor control; document control; facility access; interpretation of and compliance with individual program requirements (including flow down of subcontract and vendor requirements); secure facility planning, establishment, and control; and Security education
· Ensure full corporate-wide compliance with all U.S. Government imposed security regulations and requirements
· Establish, update and maintain corporate-wide Security processes and procedures to ensure uniform adherence to regulatory requirements
· Maintain DSS and other cognizant oversight agencies’ approval of overall Security Program and facility clearances at all CENTRA locations
· Establish excellent rapport with all CENTRA customer Security staffs to ensure open and direct lines of communication
· Manage all Security functions, processes, and issues related to CENTRA classified computers, networks, and computational facilities
· On an ongoing basis, ensure adequate education of all cleared CENTRA staff of all relevant Security requirements.
· Collaborate closely with CENTRA senior management and team members.
experience
The selected candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years progressive Security administration experience, including a minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
Well-developed knowledge and practical application of the NISPOM and all U.S. Government security regulations, as well as DOD-specific and Intelligence Community-specific policies and practices, Particular emphasis will be placed on very recent and/or current experience and established relationships with DHS Security.
Working knowledge of computer and network security requirements.
A combination of large company and small company experience to constitute both a foundation in scale and infrastructure development is desirable.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS required, advanced degree preferred.
TS/SCI Clearance required, with current DHS Final Suitability approval.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, highly organized.
Occasional out-of-state travel.
