CENTRA Technology

TITLE   Director, Corporate Security

LOCATION Arlington, VA, 22023

COMPANY  CENTRA Technology (“CENTRA”), founded in 1985 originally as Defense Group, Inc., is a leading provider of security, analytic, technical and engineering services to the US government.  Customers include Security Agencies, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Office of Naval Research, Ballistic Missile Defense Organization, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, DARPA, USAF, NASA, MIT, federally-funded research centers, major defense contractors, and several state and local government agencies.

CENTRA offers its clients particular expertise on matters relating to national security analyses, command and control systems, airborne surveillance systems, microelectronics, low observables and cruise missile technologies, foreign technologies, test and evaluation, DoD weapons systems acquisition management and international programs.  The company operates through a variety of contracting mechanisms including all three GSA service contracts (Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services, Professional Engineering Services and Information Technology Professional Services), a wide range of competitively-awarded contracts and sole contracts for unique expertise and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (“IDIQ”).  CENTRA maintains strong strategic alliances with other vendors, and has broad experience as both a prime contractor and as a member of other vendor teams.

CENTRA is privately-held and operates primarily from two offices: Burlington, MA (company headquarters) and Arlington, VA.  The firm’s year-after-year dramatic revenue growth is attributed to its most valued resource – its people.  Most of CENTRA’s well trained staff, today numbering over 330, hold top secret security clearances; over half possess advanced degrees, many have lived in foreign countries and speak multiple languages.

CENTRA is lead by an exceptional team of executives: Dr. Harold Rosenbaum, CENTRA’s Founder, CEO and Chairman, brings more than 40 years of high tech defense experience.  He’s an accomplished researcher, entrepreneur and business executive and has held several posts on special government committees and boards.  Dr. Lee Zinser, SVP, manages Intel community support activities, including business development, sourced from CENTRA’s Arlington, VA office.  Jack Barry serves as CENTRA’s COO, and most recently served in a similar capacity as VP of Business Operations for BAE Systems Advanced Information Technologies (formerly Alphatech). Dr. Matthew Partan has broad experience managing homeland and national security projects and research teams.  Retired US Army Officer, Richard Bogusky, specializes in international security affairs and brings broad Asia/Pacific experience.  Dr. James Harris directs CENTRA’s Outreach Programs and provides analytic support to the National Intelligence Council and the intelligence community at large.  Eileen O’Sullivan serves as CENTRA’s Controller.  For more information, visit their web site at http://www.centratechnology.com/.
