Aerotek Professional Services Location: Reston, VA 20191 Salary: USD 85,000.00 /year Position Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Other Contracts Administrator  Job Description: This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.Description: The Sr. Contract Administrator is responsible for full life-cycle contract administration; is the point of contact with clients and subcontractors and must ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), contractual requirements as well as internal system policies and procedures. Responsibilities -Manage US Government and commercial client contracts -Manage US Government and commercial domestic and international suppliers contractual documents -Interface in a collaborative coordinated effort with company management, project personnel to ensure successful contract execution -May prepare contractual documents (NDAs, subcontracts and consulting agreements) -Prepare regular reports -Maintain contract files and systems -Ensure regulatory, policy, and procedural compliance -In summary, perform “cradle to grave” contract managementMinimum Qualifications -BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Engineering -6-10 years of experience/expertise in US Government contracts and defense industry -Demonstrated negotiation skills, attention to detail, excellent organization and multi-tasking skills and ability to develop collaborative working relationships -Understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards for US Government contracting -Excellent oral and written communication skillsDesired Skills -Prior experience with Deltek Accounting System (incl. Procurement module) -Experience in aviation industry and FMS -NCMA certificationSpecial Considerations: Additional working hours/overtime as required.
