Trade Marketing Coordinator
The Trade Marketing Specialist will oversee all sales administrative functions which involve an interface between the external sales and operations. The primary component and objective of this role is to develop and exercise communication and data systems that facilitate business execution of the overall goals of the sales department and Fletchers overall.
Primary Job Functions: Develop, update and manage a perpetual sales forecasting model insuring that our order fulfillment rate is equal to or over 98%. Update the model daily to reflect market conditions, demand curves, promotional activity and any other unforeseen activity or occurrence that can have an effect on the supply chain to the customer or to product flow. Input and track all promotional funds and present post promotional analysis reports to the sales managers. Act as an interface to broker/customer and the sales managers so that daily flow business, promotional and seasonal programs are executed at or above plan requirements Using internal sales reporting, assist members of the sales team in analysis and preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual sales reviews Under the direction of the sales manager(s), develop concise, professionally formatted customer sales presentations Act as the gatekeeper for all pricing and price lists including formula pricing. Insure accurate and timely distribution of pricing to our customer/brokers and maintain accurate and updated pricing in the system Coordinate and facilitate, in conjunction with sales team member and broker, specific trade promotional events Acquire and facilitate distribution of all point of sale materials as needed
Secondary Job Functions: Maintain updated customer contact roster with names, addresses, phone numbers and emails of each buyer and assistant buyer Publish and distribute a quarterly email newsletter Facilitate all sample requests, mailings and special packaging Support and assist the order entry process Assist the sales team member in filling out all required paperwork necessary for the sales and facilitation
Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications Must be able to organize and analyze data effectively and accurately Must have exceptional self starting and follow through skills Must have exceptional written and verbal skills Must be experienced with problem solving and creative, proactive thinking Must be team oriented
