Product Manager

Job Description

Darigold seeks a motivated Product Manager to build products from existing ideas, and work to develop new ideas based on sales force input, industry experience, industry/trade organizations and resources, and contact with customers and vendors.  As a member of the Marketing team, you will contribute to defining the go-to-market strategy, determining product positioning and key benefits, and target customers in the research and development of products.  You will also work with Operations to define manufacturing, quality, ingredient and packaging requirements; Finance to define costs; R&D to develop product specifications and formulas; Sales to train external and internal customers on the product portfolio; and serve as an internal and external liaison for product offerings, working with vendors, manufacturing plants, customer service, sales channels and key customers.

 

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Food Sciences or related field

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Precise and concise writing and verbal communication skills

Strong multitasking and priority management skills

Possess a unique blend of business and technical competence

Have an understanding all aspects of product development from conception to rollout
