There is no better time to join us! As a Lab Assistant III you will conduct sample preparation within the Food & Drug Analysis Department. You will also be in charge of keeping the areas where the samples are stored organized. Samples are kept in refrigerators, freezer and dry storage area.Responsibilities: • Modify established procedures within specified guidelines. • Operate general lab equipment. • Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance. • Do calculations and conversions, and compile data obtained. • Instruct other technicians as required. Education:• High School diploma or equivalent plus 2-3 years of laboratory experience or Associate Degree in related field plus 0-2 years of laboratory experience.
