If you are an experienced Chef de Cuisine with a creative background in Fine-Dining/Upscale Restaurants and have trained under a Nationally Recognized Chef or you are a nationally recognized Chef, we want to talk to you!

 

The base salary for this position is completely commensurate on experience!

 

Qualified Chef Candidate Duties Include:



 

v Controls labor cost by properly scheduling staff and improving productivity

 

v Verifies that kitchen staff follow all recipes and portion servings correctly and according to menu specifications

 

v Ensures food quality by maintaining the highest standards of personal hygiene, proper food handling techniques

 

v Develops employees to company standards, policies, and procedures

 

v Sets excellent customer service and work examples

 

v Actively participates as member of management team

 

v Takes active role in developing and implementing menu specials

 

v Ensures that all recipes, food preparations, and plate presentations meet specifications and commitment to quality

 

v Maintain a safe, orderly and sanitized kitchen

 

v Develop Sous Chefs to support succession plans





Qualified Chef Candidates Must Possess:

 



v Classical Chef training

 



v Must have experience successfully creating diverse menu items

 

  v Must have working knowledge and experience with upscale cuisine

 

v Preferred graduation through an accredited Culinary Institute

 

v Wonderful Tenure with previous employers. At least 2 years with each employer.

 

v Previous Apprenticeship or work experience under a well-known Chef preferred
