Compensation Manager

You will be responsible fordesigning the Company’s compensation programs to include: sales compensation and salaried compensation programs; administering the Company’s common review date for salaried comp plans for exempt, non-exempt, and non-union hourly to include merit [MIP] and bonus programs; monitoring competitive area and national trends in compensation, participate in local area/national surveys; maintaining the internal and external equity among pay programs; conducting job analysis and job ranking programs; defining compensation and salary administration guidelines and policies; assisting and training internal customers with regard to compensation and salary administration programs; preparing reports for compensation analysis such as: bonus, promotions, demotions, performance trends, salary planning, etc.. Ideal candidate will propose annual compensation budget for purposes of merit increase planning and control; partner with IOCs to compare salary/bonus and pay practice information; work with and counsel HR Directors to assist plant HR Managers in unique compensation issues and opportunities; maintain and review compliance with compensation practices and guidelines for SOX compliance; and develop communication and promote the compensation programs to ensure employee understanding of value. Job Requirements: Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in HR or Business Management and compensation knowledge to ensure accurate and timely administration of all pay programs and annual compensation planning. Must have 5-7+ years of progressively responsible experience in the compensation field. As a self-starter, with proven experience in compensation philosophy, process, structure and project management skills, this opportunity will provide your next career step and a career path.
