Case Clerk (Part-time)
The Case Clerk will assist in all aspects of supporting the Corporate Legal Department’s Litigation, Bankruptcy and Environmental/Real Estate groups. Primary responsibilities will include filing and data entry.The responsibilities of the individual will be to: Manage filing, identification and retrieval of Litigation, Bankruptcy and Environmental/Real Estate documents and files Data entry of relevant case information on legal case management software Opening and closing litigation files on legal case management software Return Litigation and Bankruptcy files to the file room Updating company databases with respect to various types of environmental reports using various company softwares Scanning and organizing completed Environmental/Real Estate reports and Real Estate closing documents and closing binders Cataloging, adding labels to folders, inserting documents in a specific order to folders, and other related tasks necessary for the Environmental/Real Estate group Review closed files to confirm compliance with Record Retention Policy Job Requirements: High School graduate, supplemented by credit hours or graduation from an accredited business school/college 1-2 years general office experience Familiarity with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and type 40 wpm accurately Attention to detail Ability to think and work independently, executing responsibilities with limited supervision Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, meet deadlines and must have good problem solving skills Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential material strictly in accordance with company policy Knowledge of Case&Point Enterprise Edition or similar legal case management software a plus Dean Foods Company is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
