Bakery Plant Leader
Location: San Antonio TexasPosition reports to a Director of Manufacturing (Bakery)Must have a baking background (preferrably cookies, crackers and cakes)Currently in a supervisory, fast paced bakery (manufacturing) position

Summary/Responsibilities of this position: Implements and maintains Partner, Team and Plant Development strategies not limited to establishing expectations, responsibilities and accountabilites Responsible for coaching, training and development of all Plant Partners: typically all non-exempt and exempt Partners with direct reporting relationships Leads efforts to ensure that the Plant is in compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, guidelines and governance Creates communications strategy to share tactical and strategic plans/initiatives with Partners with cross-functional impact across the Plant Creates a culture to elicit Partner support/commitment to Plant initiatives Periodically reviews performance exceptions and improvement to ensure alignment to strategic goals Conducts education and training needs assessments and gap analysis for all positions in the plant Maintains relationships with customers, suppliers, and resources Defines hiring criteria and authorizes staffing requisitions Routinely offers performance feedback and administers H-E-B Performance Management Appraisals as required Develops and maintains the Plant's Quality Manual and ensures compliance with the Corporate Food Quality and Safety Standard Ensures facility and equipment are maintained in a manner that aligns with the Bold Promise to produce the freshest, safest products Tracks and analyzes store fill rate results and reallocates Plant resources if needed Establishes and communicates staffing and performance standards Allocates resources to maintain the facility and equipment to standard Capital Planning and execution of projects Establishes Operating Budget and delivers results Develops an awareness in the facility for shrink control Strong commitment to Plant Safety and development of a culture of safety within the facility
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (preferred) 5 years experience in related industry experience Advanced multi-tasking and attention to detail skills required Strong influencing skills High performance work team experience Advanced knowledge and compliance in related areas: industry, EEOC and Employment Laws Advanced written, verbal and presentation skills Strong analytical skills Demonstrated proficiency with operating internal and external software systems at an advanced level not limited to: creating spreadsheets, graphs charts and preparing presentations Strong knowledge of financial reports in one functional area Strong understanding of budgeting process for the facility Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives within one department/plant
