POSITION SUMMARY:
This individual is responsible for coordinating all SPC functions within the facility.


MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Open, sort and distribute incoming mail to department staff. Answer telephones, screen calls and deliver messages to appropriate staff members. Compose, type and proofread a variety of correspondence and memoranda. Arrange travel plans for staff members. Order and maintain office supplies. Maintain a variety of records, reports and files of a confidential nature. Update calendars and schedule appointments for staff. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact with professionals at all levels.  Strong verbal, written and organizational skills. Working knowledge of general office equipment such as fax machines and copiers. Familiar with Office '97. Three to five years of related administrative experience.
