Programmer/Analyst (Sharepoint)


The programmer/analyst performs a wide variety of technology-related tasks associated with the review, assessment, acquisition, implementation, and support of business systems.  Examples include financial systems, HR/Payroll, contract management tools, intranet portals, CRM, internal productivity, and workflow applications. 

 

This particular position will heavily emphasize the implementation and support of a Microsoft Sharepoint-based Intranet.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Review and assess business and functional operations and processes.

· Analyze, design, and recommend technical solutions to business issues.

· Assist business units in technology assessment and system design.

· Evaluate, implement, and support off-the-shelf and internally-developed applications.

· Perform systems programming and scripting on a variety of platforms with a variety of tools.

· Manage technical projects and tasks.

· Gather, translate, and document end user requirements.

· Provide technology consulting services to business units.

· Perform product evaluations, cost/benefit analyses, and feasibility studies.

 

 

Requirements:

 

· 2+ years work experience in an IT environment.

· Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field desired.

· Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint implementation and support.

· Experience with Microsoft SQL, Visual Basic, Great Plains, ADP, and Ultimus a plus.

· Broad IT expertise in areas such as systems administration, analysis, design, architecture, technical writing, programming, project management, etc. desired.

· Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up.

· Strong oral and written communications skills.
