Visual Merchandise Coordinator
CITY: Universal City STATE: CaliforniaCOUNTRY: USAEssential Functions (Responsibilities):The Visual Merchandising Coordinator will coordinate, implement and maintain visual merchandise standards in the Universal Studios retail and theme park environments. Hands on in the design of innovative in-store and window displays for merchandise, promotions and new programs working with various USH depts and outside vendors. Communicate all aspects of Visual Presentation to stores, field management and corporate office staff. Create Photoshop studies based on dept and park requirements for future USH projects. Responsible for in-park signage program. Design and create materials for field communication using graphic software programs.
Responsibilites to include but not limited to:Maintain and monitor the appearance of all fixtures, displays, signage and props as it relates to cleanliness, wear and tear and damage. Monitor and enforce USH's established Visual Merchandising Standards. Train field associates on visual standards.Work with the Visual Merchandising Manager to research and select vendors to collaborate with on select projects. Assist in the coordination of all activities necessary for the design and production of new projects. Support the stores and field personnel by responding to inquiries and needs on a priority basis. Troubleshoot problems that arise in the field not only for the store that communicates it, but also for all stores affected. Provide feedback on all identified areas to ensure that best practices are in place.* Maintain visual displays in-store and windows parkwide. Develop and implement best practices through department training, policy and procedures, and ongoing skill-set development.* Special design projects as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:Extensive working knowledge with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Microsoft Office.Strong creative skills and proof of conceptual project development.Portfolio demonstrating current and past projects required.
