Position Description:

Fox Entertainment Group is currently looking for a head of Workers' Compensation Claims. In this role you will report directly to the EVP, Labor Relations. Position is the focal point of contact for all aspects of strategy development, execution tactics and business unit monitoring of workers compensation program.Your primary responsibilities will be to:1. Provide technical resources, guidance and education to manage all claims to the appropriate outcome.2. Work closely with business leaders to create and implement business plans which include large and total loss, cost and expense management.3. Implement, execute and monitor reserving and settlement policies. 4. Coordinate and participate in regularly scheduled Large Case Conferences. 5. Participate in and approve decisions on reserving and settlement on cases above claim manager authority.6. Provide continuous oversight, direction and consultation on large losses requiring oversight. 7. Plan, coordinate and perform technical audits to measure/manage compliance with company procedures, claim best practices, reserving and settlement policy.8. Manage vendor relations to develop optimum case outcomes, cost performance, and measurement criteria.9. Provide direction, leadership and training to in-house claim professionals. 10. Establish working relationships with diverse Business Unit leaders on claims related issues, including strategic loss reduction initiatives. 11. Additional responsibilities as assigned or requested.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree required, MBA, CPCU, AU or ARM designations are a plus12 or more years Worker's Compensation underwriting and product knowledge with solid understanding of commercial lines systems and compliance related to underwriting, pricing, and coverageMulti-state experience working with both union and non-union employees requiredAbility to translate vision into realistic business strategies, analyzing the most complex issues to develop creative solutions and mobilize resources to achieve resultsAbility to develop and execute business strategy, lead change, drive results and innovative thinking and product developmentExcellent understanding of Workers Compensation underwriting experience and product knowledge with strong analytical capabilitiesExcellent communication and organization skillsStrong computer skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAdditional experience with PeopleSoft, JDE, and RisxFax preferred
