Sr. Financial Analyst - Studio Operations Finance

Studio Operation Finance - Studio Service Group. You will gain invaluable experience in this role which offers significant responsibility and interaction with senior management as well as considerable opportunity to be a major contributor within the Studio Operation finance organization. This individual must be able to develop professional relationships with various Studio Services departments, analyze and decipher financial data to accurately assess and review each department?s performance. He/she must be able to identify problems and develop innovative solutions to further efforts toward continuous process improvements. In addition, he/she must be well organized, detail oriented and able to perform a variety of tasks under time pressure and strict deadlines.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Supports director on analysis and financial modeling of different planning, development and implementation projects for Studio Operations* Assists in Long Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Estimates, Forecasts and Flash * Identifies methods to improve controls and efficiencies along with Key Performance Indicators* Supports all financial and management reporting tasks * Performs research and variance analysis for management presentations * Manages re-engineering projects on a task and ad-hoc basis * Sample projects include: * Benchmark analysis comparing facility costs to support additional capital & maintenance funding request * Office cost per sq ft analysis * Shop space cost per sq ft analysis * Storage space cost per sq ft analysis * Parking cost per space analysisQualifications:Basic qualifications: * Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience preferred * Attention to detail, ability to work independently * Good written and verbal communication skills Desired skills:* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred * MBA preferred * Strong communication skills * Experience in Entertainment Industry * Self-motivated, self-starter * Presentation skills * SAP knowledge * Experience in Process Re-Engineering * Must have good organizational skills in order to prioritize multiple tasks * Strong computer skills; highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointEligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United StatesSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5331Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
