Your tasks


To assist the Senior Management and Staff Account Executives in both a sales and marketing capacity.


The Sales and Marketing Rep's responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:

Report to and consistently communicate Senior Management
Maintain strong relationships and good communication with the appropriate national staff and the regional/national label contacts
Sales and Marketing coverage for assigned accounts with a special focus on digital marketing, account VIA duties and assistance with the day to day duties associated with the national accounts
Work with labels, direct reports and Home office staffs to keep them involved and aware of all opportunities that are available at assigned accounts
Communicate to appropriate staff information the account shares with you about other distributor activities. Report on competitive information through the proper channels and with the proper documentation
Invite local accounts to shows
Involvement with assigned retailer's online sites and help coordinate approved promotions. Create opportunities to speak directly to the consumer about Label's artists by utilizing accounts' e-mail blasts, mailings and web announcements. Work closely with Marketing, Online, Digital and Mobile teams to incorporate elements of each into retail promotions
Check compliance at local area stores
Work with management to determine when to recap sales/marketing promotions with sales data, account feedback and personal feedback

Our requirements


Job requirements Education and/or Experience:

College degree preferred / Music industry experience preferred


Decision/Problem Solving Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
Demonstrate solid relationship and communication skills
Must be computer proficient and possess familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Should have a passion for music and be familiar with most genres
