Human Resources Manager

Summary Job Description:  To provide support and guidance to all departments relating to H.R. functions.

Essential Job Functions:  To manage and provide input regarding the direction of the Human Resources functions of team member relations, employment and recruitment.Insure all departments are supported through development and implementation of new procedures for the effective operation of the Human Resources department.Administer and communicate company policies, procedures and programs.Review and advise management staff on matters dealing with performance and conduct issues, team member relations, and labor issues.Review and approve all levels of discipline issued.Assist Director of Human Resources with EEOC and NLRB charge responses.Respond to Subpoena requests.Promote effective communication between team members and management.Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters.

Job Specifications:  Requires BA Degree or equivalent. Requires 5 years + experience in Human Resources management.Experience in a Union environment is necessary.Must have experience with Labor and Employee Relations.Experience with Compensation and Benefits administration.Knowledgeable with Employment Law and FMLA.Good written and verbal communication skills.Must be proficient in Microsoft office package.
