Summary
Turnkey seeks a brilliant, inquisitive, innovative and engaging market research professional to play a lead role in the analysis of custom client research projects. As research jobs go, this is as good as it gets. This position will lead all projects and business development for brands/sponsor side of the business and play a crucial role in assisting other team members on implementing custom and syndicated projects. This position will also participate as a team member in the development of new software, measurement metrics and other proprietary applications. This job is for an individual who gets excited by sports, entertainment, media and new media and wants to unlock the secrets to how sports & entertainment programming, content and commercial messages are impacting consumers. Essential Duties
1. Working with clients to help them identify their own objectives and then develop appropriate questions and survey instruments that will best achieve their information objectives.
2. Analyzing clients' events and venues to determine the best data collection methods and strategies.
3. Delivering top expertise on all survey sampling methodologies, sample selection, survey design, and basic statistical analysis.
4. Creating amazing ways to present research results and other insights in ways that are immediately actionable, compelling and able to be relayed throughout the client organization.
5. Develop a thorough knowledge of Turnkey's proprietary survey applications to ensure survey instruments are programmed correctly and on time and expertly navigating Turnkey's online reporting tools.
6. Training client staff in the use of proprietary technologies including PDA's, web surveys, kiosks and the Turnkey Intelligence reporting tools.
7. Contributing to the continuous development and evolution of Turnkey's Intellectual Property.
8. Assist the SVP in building client base through multiple marketing and networking channels including industry conferences, trade shows, client visits, mailings and outbound sales calls to promote Turnkey Sports & Entertainment and specifically Turnkey Intelligence.
9. Assisting with any other tasks assigned by Senior Vice President, or President.
Qualifications
1. Approximately 5-8 years of hands-on experience conducting quantitative market research; creating/designing survey instruments, data collection, analysis and presentation of complex research.
2. Proficiency with sampling, survey design, and survey data analysis. The successful candidate would need to be highly proficient in the creation and editorial review of quantitative PowerPoint reports.
3. Prior experience working at an advertising agency, public relations firm or brand a plus. Prior experience with media and new media audiences a plus. Live event research experience a plus.
4. Experience with or eagerness for new business development is a plus.
5. Normal business travel as necessary.
6. Bachelor's degree in business economics, the social sciences, or other field of study requiring strong competency with statistics or mathematics. Master's degree in related field is a plus.
