DVD Project Manager- Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment

PPC operations also include Paramount Digital Entertainment, Paramount Home Entertainment, Paramount Pictures International, Paramount Licensing Inc., Paramount Studios and Worldwide Television Distribution.Description:This position is responsible for managing the compilation, verification and finalization of screen credits for assigned films.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Compiles and verifies screen credits. Ensures that all drafts of work product are properly distributed to management and production personnel. Interfaces with Producers and Directors to resolve any credit problems and ensures that all credits adhere to Guild requirements, contractual obligations and industry standards* Compiles and submits proper Academy Award forms to the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences for assigned films, ensuring that all Academy rules and regulations are followed, so that films may be considered for nomination* Coordinates with Production Finance and Post Production to prepare forms for the Classification and Ratings Administration Board of the Motion Picture Association of America for assigned films* Prepares Writing Notices for all participating writers on each film for submission to the Writers' Guild of America, and distributes this information to appropriate Company personnel* Prepares various inter-departmental monthly reportsQualifications:Basic qualifications:* Bachelors degree in a related field * Minimum three years experience in contract or credit/titles administration* Thorough knowledge of post production schedules, procedures and terminologyDesired skills:* Knowledge of the various Guilds and Guild agreements* Knowledge of MPAA operating rules and regulations* Good organization and project management skills * Strong communication skills* Experience in Entertainment IndustryEligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States* Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short noticeParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5397Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
