Associate Implementation/Business Analyst
Description
Who We Are:
A subsidiary of Cablevision Systems Corporation since 1998, Clearview Cinemas was formed in 1994 and currently operates 48 movie theatres with 250 screens in the New York metropolitan area, including the famous Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. Clearview Cinemas operates theatres in New Jersey, Manhattan, Westchester, Rockland County, Long Island and Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking talented professionals to join our staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Proactively anticipates problems and looks for ways to improve the efficiency of Information System and Business Processes.
2. Provides level one field service support in situations where EIT field service is not available.
3. Designs, develops, and supports batch files and other programs to transfer and import data and files collected from the theatres and other sources.
4. Interacts with Point of Sale and other vendors to provide remote and onsite support and escalation of issues affecting all Clearview locations.
5. Executes and monitors SQL Server and Windows based batch files and drive space to insure automated processes run efficiently.
6. Takes a leading role in the implementation of new vendor applications at all Clearview locations.
7. Performs business analysis, development, testing, and support for applications developed to support the Clearview business units as required.
8. Provides on-site server, network infrastructure, and backup tape support to various Cablevision EIT groups.
9. Assists the Clearview Vice President of Information Systems and performs other assigned duties as required.Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Key Experiences/Achievements
a) An Associate degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required
b) 2 to 4 years of experience as a programmer or equivalent experience
c) 2 to 4 years of experience as a field service technician or equivalent experience
d) Knowledge of Clearviews business practices and/or similar industry practices
2. Management Skills
a) Understanding of project management processes and steps
b) Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload or direction from management or customer
c) Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
d) Knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle
3. Technical/Functional Competencies
a) Strong ability and trouble shooting skills
b) Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and information system technologies
c) Knowledge of batch file languages, VBA, SQL Server components and T-SQL language
d) Excellent verbal and good written communications skills
e) Must be highly organized and detail oriented
