Relationships Under the direction of the Supervising Discipline Engineer, Engineers maintain project coordination with all other disciplines on an assigned project. Responsibilities The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the overall operation of the industrial HVAC system. This position requires related experience in the operation, maintenance and optimization of complex Industrial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:- Negative Pressure Systems- Cascade Ventilation- Toxic Ventilation- Other complex industrial HVAC Systems General Job Duties · Keeps the supervising engineer advised as to status of assignment(s) with respect to schedule, budgets, delays and adverse problems.· Supervises, assigns work, sets work priorities, evaluates and trains technical and engineering personnel.· Provides technical assistance and guidance to technical and engineering personnel.· Continually upgrades technical knowledge and capabilities.· Assures quality, quantity, and completeness of the engineering required.· Plans and schedules engineering efforts associated with assigned projects.· Maintains timeliness and accuracy of oral and written technical reports regarding assigned engineering activities.· Maintains proper engineering files and records.· Performs other engineering related work as required. Additional ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Supervising Discipline Engineer, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved engineering schedules and budgets.May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned engineering and design/drafting personnel.job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor of Science Degree in appropriate engineering discipline or the sciences from a four (4) year accredited college or university, or equivalent education.Experience: 4+ years engineering experience with complex industrial HVAC systems. FE(EIT) certificate recommended.
