The ideal candidate will work on some of the most challenging, largest, and highest profile projects in North America, including: A major mountain pass highway widening project that encompasses a snowshed, bridges, complex structural walls, and rockfall and avalanche studies; unique and challenging dam expansion in the arctic; and a water treatment plant for a dam removal.The Sr. Geotechnical Engineer will support our work on large transportation, mine, industrial and commercial, levee repair, dam, water resources, and facilities projects. Responsibilities would include performing geotechnical engineering analyses, design and report preparation for the design and construction of buildings, bridges, roadways, dams, mines, tunnels, airports, landfills and infrastructure facilities. Additional responsibilities include coordinating geotechnical investigations, development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely, accurate and profitable completion of all projects, including responsibility for client billings and schedule control. Actively assist in marketing new clients and fostering existing client relationships. Develops budgets, scope of works, level of efforts and proposals.
