Production Engineer

Specialty Coating Systems (SCS) is the world leader in Parylene conformal coatings for the Medical, Electronics, Automotive and Military industries.  SCS leads the worldwide Parylene industry with:Nearly 35 years of application experience & expertise Ten worldwide locations to serve our customers Maintenance of FDA Device & Drug Master Files Functionalized coating facilities to meet market requirements for cleanrooms adn quality management systems Market specific expertise including Ph.D. Chemist, Market Specialists, and university collaborations, all which all SCS to further enhance Parylene technology.

Currently, SCS is seeking the right person to fill the position of Production Engineer.  This position is located in our facility in Clear Lake, WI.  This individual is responsible for being a liaison between production and engineering, and is the main driver of process development and quality assurance to continuously improve all phases of production. 

POSITION FUNCTIONS:


·Works with production, engineering and management to continuously improve all aspects of production, including streamlining processes, improving quality, increasing output, and eliminating waste. 

· Serves  as the on-site quality compliance liaison with quality assurance, production and engineering (including ISO 9000 compliance).

· Conducts follow-up cost analysis on new projects and coordinate data with the Applications Engineer or the Coating Center Manager.

· Acts as technical implementation link between Applications Engineering and Operations. 

· Provides technical diagnostic and repair assistance as required.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:4-year Engineering degree with 2+ year's engineering work experience.  Will consider an Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school with 5+ year's of engineering work experience. Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions.Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.Proficient with use of precision measuring tools and equipment.Ability to interact closely with other departments to support customer focus and efficient operations. Demonstrated analytical and technical ability within field of expertise.Demonstrated capacity to work with Microsoft Office Products, Lotus Notes and other critical computer applications.
