Procurement Clerk
High school degree or equivalent training/experience and 3 years of experience in Government and Commercial Contracts and Procurement. Requires good oral and written communication skills and familiarity with word-processing, database and spreadsheet programs required. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Job Description : The Procurement Clerk will perform procurement and contract/subcontract administration functions in support of EG&G's business office located in Morgantown, WV. Assists procurement by typing of purchase orders and subcontracts; recording receipt of quotes and maintaining vendor search records; and assisting with the preparation of statistical reporting. Contacts vendors for quotations for small supply actions. Makes purchases using purchase orders and/or credit card. Compiles documentation to establish procurement files. Maintains the procurement filing system. Performs data entry to close out purchase orders. Maintains a suspense file for documents such as RFQs, subcontracts, and modifications. Prepares correspondence to subcontractors/vendors and internal personnel. Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested. : : EOE M/F/D/V
