Mechanical Engineer - Motors

 

Develop and source new sub fractional electric motors, redesign and cost reduce existing motors and apply motors to products.

 

Manage the design and development, or redesign and cost reduction, of assigned motor programs through application of applicable Engineering principles and practices. This responsibility includes acting as leader of an organized cross-functional project team.

 Investigate new motor technology and controls and make recommendations for incorporation in product. Lead new product programs focused on new motor technology Serve as the motor development engineer on new product development project teams Participate in UL standards development involving motor protection and safety Lead investigation activities involving product performance, safety and reliability issues Lead motor consolidation programs

 

Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline.
