Marketing and Proposal Manager

 

Parsons Brinckerhoff has been a leader in transportation engingeering for over 100 years.Our Seattle office has an immediate need for a Senior Proposal Manager / Marketing Manager with experience in AEC industry. Serves as "project manager" for proposal activities and participates as a key member of large proposal teams. Supervises work of others. Key duties include: 1. Manage activities for local pursuits, proposals and presentations. 2. Develop SOQs, proposals and presentations to deliver materials that meet RFP requirements, quality standards and are consistent with the overall strategy. 3. Implement and refine proposal delivery processes. 4. Increase proposal development and production efficiency.

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years experience.  Position requires: excellent oral and written communications skills; an understanding of proposal development processes and compliance; ability to build, manage, positively motivate, and work within project teams; ability to lead and facilitate proposal planning, strategy, and review sessions; ability to manage SOQ, proposal, and presentation development to adhere to established themes; ability to work within deadlines and budgets; knowledge of production processes in order to manage other staff in timely delivery of proposals; proficiency in all proposal and presentation production software, including Microsoft Office Suite and InDesign; and the ability to train others, be a team player and provide good customer service.
