Chesapeake Appalachia, LLC is seeking an individual for an in-house Exploration Landman position in Chesapeake's Eastern Division office located in Charleston, WV to work exploration prospects in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Duties include supervising field brokerage companies, negotiating oil and gas leases, joint venture and AMI agreements, farmouts, operating agreements, and other exploration related contracts. Skills required are ability to communicate with company staff landmen, geologists and engineers, outside companies, mineral owners, and field operations personnel on an ongoing basis to enhance the company's oil and gas exploration, development and production activities and well readiness for ongoing drilling schedule. Multitasking, creative thinking, negotiation abilities, computer knowledge and understanding of regulatory and legal issues are necessities for the position. Prefer a candidate with 5+ years experience as an in-house Exploration Landman. Field brokers without in-house exploration experience should not apply for this position. Production Superintendent - Operations - Big Flats, NY Responsibilities include managing the Northern District operations that relate to the operation and maintenance of all production, pipeline and measurement facilities. Analyzes and determines appropriate action based on supervisors' recommendations for improvements to maximize production and/or reduce costs from assigned wells and associated facilities. Work closely with district personnel and headquarters staff. Ensures compliance with Company policies and procedures and state and federal regulations. Candidate must have extensive knowledge of oil and gas operations. Prefer candidate with at least 20 years of experience. BS degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline would be a plus.
