The Seattle office of ENSR works on some of the largest and most interesting sediment cleanup projects in the nation for a wide variety of industrial and government clients. Our current needis for a staff level coastal engineer to work on task management and engineering support to the regional Sediments and Ports/Harbors/Waterways teams.The selected individual will have the opportunity to significantly increase their engineering, project management, and stakeholder interaction skills as they progress from task to project management. Specific tasks include planning, analysis, design and implementation of dredging, capping, bank protection and bioengineering for sediment remediation and capital construction projects. Supporting tasks include preparation of cost estimates and feasibility studies and construction management.QualificationsQualifications include& 0-5 years relevant experience with a B.S. or M.S. (preferred) in Engineering with an emphasis in Coastal, Dredging or Ocean Engineering. Other desirable attributes include numerical modeling capabilities (such as ADCIRC, STWAVE, CGWAVE, MIKE 21) and/or familiarity with CAD/GIS. EIT certification required within one year of employment.
