Fresh Brands is seeking a CAD Designer

Fresh Brands, Inc. is a supermarket retailer and grocery wholesaler through corporate-owned retail, franchised and independent supermarkets. The corporate-owned and franchised retail supermakets operate under the Piggly Wiggly and Dick's Supermarket brands. The supermarkets are located throughout Wisconsin, northern Illinois and northeastern Iowa.

 

Job Purpose:  Prepares fixture plans for supermarkets using established guidelines for each project and review, adapt and execute fixture plans in collaboration with Store Engineers.

 

Job Duties:

 

*Prepares fixture plans and designs supermarket store layouts.

 

*Prepares plans and supporting documents for prototype and project specific changes; developing store layouts and interior decor design.

 

*Works closely with Store Engineers and management to establish and maintain equipment standards for future fixture plan development.

 

*Incorporates the established layout guidelines into the production of fixture plans.

 

*Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information: conferring with store engineers and architects.

 

*Maintains, modifies, and updates CAD data base libraries and plans; completing backups.

 

*Develops and maintains accurate and detailed files for all projects.

 

*Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

*Coordinates with Store Engineers and management cost estimates, fixture plan completion for construction documents and fixture plan revisions.

 

*Distributes plans and works closely with Store Engineers, architects, management, and store personnel to meet deadlines.

 

*Adheres to CAD and design standards.

 

*Meets all deadlines.

 

Job Skills/Qualifications:  AutoCad, CAD, Microsoft Office, Drafting, Drafting Tools, Deadline Oriented, Self Motivated, Organized, Design Skills, Analyzing Information, Communication Skills.

 *Some travel may be required.
