Strom Engineering is currenlty looking for an experienced Applications Engineer.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Designing and developing heat exchanger design solutions for OEM customers in the Commercial HVAC&R industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Design heat exchangers solutions for assigned customers using a variety of computer simulation tools

·  Provide technical assistance to customer's engineering personnel

·  Assist customers in the use of system simulation tool

·  Writing and submitting cost estimates

·  Writing, submitting, and following up on Change Requests and Deviations

·  Coordinate prototype builds

·  Specify test requirements, follow up with Tech Center or Laboratory and analyze test results

·  Coordinate with drafting and the manufacturing plants to ensure that drawings are accurate and released on time to meet the plants requirements

·  Participate in design FMEAs, Specifications and other Quality System requirements

·  Coordinating special projects

·  Monitor feedback from the plants and customers and initiate product improvements when appropriate

This individual will work closely with a group of OEM Customers, Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing Plants, and Corporate support groups to ensure that new models are delivered on time and meet all customer requirements
