Specialist COE Training
Position Purpose: This position provides training primarily focused on productivity improvements including all aspects of safety, environmental, maintenance, and production. Training will be coordinated with the Western Training Center personnel to ensure the programs are consistent. Research improvement aspects for training and equipment operations to ensure the overall level of performance on the equipment improve.
Principal Accountabilities include: Develop and provide operator training primarily shovels and secondarily for dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and trucks. Region of responsibility includes primarily the West but also includes the Midwest operations as appropriate. Participate in COE roll outs and sustainability at all of Peabody’s operations. Ensure safety and environmental standards are met and exceeded in all phases of operator training.
Job Requirements: 5-10 years of related experience required. Trained in shovels, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and trucks required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
