It all starts here, with you.Revenue Senior AccountantDominion has several opportunities within its Revenue Accounting group located in Jane Lew, WV. Position duties may include the following:- Participate in and/or conduct process improvement efforts- Prepare detail and summary financial analysis and evaluations- Perform detailed accounting tasks as needed- Communicate with other disciplines within and outside the company- Be a P2ES system super-user for Revenue/Production Accounting Department- Act as a liaison between the IT Department and Revenue/Production Accounting users community- Work with P2ES Business Systems Analysts to support E&P business process- Work on ad hoc projectsSuccessful candidates must be able to travel to Houston for training over a 1 to 3 month period. This training period in Houston may not necessarily be completed in consecutive weeks/months and periodic travel to Houston may be required after the 3 month period.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:- Working knowledge of petroleum industry exploration & production activities- Functional knowledge of all aspects of Revenue & Production Accounting- Understanding of accounting principles and internal controls- Knowledge of the functionality and capabilities of P2ES Enterprise Upstream/Oracle Revenue & Production modules- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access; skilled in learning computer systems- Excellent work paper and documentation skills- Must be a self-starter with strong analytical, evaluation and strategic thinking skills- Capable of adapting to changing priorities, assignments, and deadlines- Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Bachelors degree in Accounting or related discipline preferred
