Duties and Responsibilities: Purpose of Job: Core position in the Revenue Protection Area. Responsible for processing applications for service in the Positive ID Program, contacting customers & property owners, updating our Customer Information System and issuing service orders. Also responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service from residential customers. Includes identifying needs and providing energy-related solutions to meet those needs, negotiating and establishing delivery dates as well as handling various gas/electric emergencies and general outage management. Examples of Tasks: Handle bill inquiries, on/off service calls and outage reports. Gather and enter customer information for customer database. Listen to customer and cross-sell products and services such as budget billing as well as discuss energy conservation measures to resolve high bill complaints. Job Characteristics: Is a member of a team, but work is performed independently. Handles calls from any customer group as staffing needs dictate. Overtime to meet call volumes or emergency call-outs.

 



Education and Experience Requirements: Must be fluent in English & Spanish. Successful applicants must possess customer contact or call center experience. Computer experience is required. Exceptional verbal and written  communication skills, and a strong customer focus and results orientation are a must.
