Regional Land Manager-Grade 18

The Regional Land Manager manages a district's land functions including supervising Company land personnel and contract land personnel, establishing communications and working with other departments within the district. Oversees all functions of land activity as it relates to Company drilling programs.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Manages all land functions related to drilling, existing well, land and lease assets and infrastructure operation and maintenance in a geographic region.* Supervises and leads Company personal and contract landmen towards reaching Company goals.* Serves as a liaison between Land, Drilling, Production and Midstream departments.* Participates as a team member of the Development Team for a geographic region.* Works closely with oil and gas lessors, coal companies and land companies in order to maximize drillable locations.* Maintains a tracking system for all wells to insure work is being performed timely for all functions of the well approval and clearance process to meet drilling programs.* Handles settlement negotiations and high level damage claims.

REQUIREMENTS:* Bachelor's degree in energy management, professional land management or a closely related field and at least nine years of related experience necessary to demonstrate a working knowledge of all land functions, including title, acquisitions, rights-of-way, damage settlements, joint ventures, permitting processes with government agencies OR* An equivalent combination of education and experience.* Ability to use Word, Excel, Mapguide, PDM, Enertia and JDE.
