We are able to assist our clients with simple, straightforward local permitting processes, and we have the depth of resources, experience, and knowledge to develop and manage complex state siting processes or assessments under NEPA. Our Wind Program is currently seeking 3 Quality Control (QC) Inspectors to staff iour Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contract for Wind Energy projects in Wyoming. Quality Control Inspectors will perform the construction and operation QC functions specified for the project and will report to the Project QC Manager. The type and number of QC personnel present will vary depending upon the complexity and nature of the definable features of work, shift work, or other operations that may require QC coverage. Work to be inspected includes civil (concrete, soil, foundations, and roads), wind tower erection, and electical. The QC personnel will be fully qualified in the area of their responsibility according to verified training and experience. The duties, responsibilities, and authorities of the QC staff may include: Assist/represent the Project QC Manager in the performance of duties when so directed Authorize the issuance of a Nonconformance Report (NCR) and recommend stop-work orders to the Project QC Manager when necessary Maintain a daily log of inspections, and provide necessary information to complete the daily QC report and other inspection records including deficiency reports Inspect and document the implementation of corrective action Monitor sampling activities and laboratory testing activities Perform field inspections of construction and operating activities, including oversight of subcontractor’s activities Remain on the project site whenever work is being performed in the area of their responsibility or as directed by the Project QC Manager.
