Project Engineer
ERGON-West Virginia, Inc. Newell, West Virginia PROJECT ENGINEER Petroleum refinery, based in Newell, WV, seeks a Project Engineer. Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age, possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, possess a valid driver's license and be legally able to work in the United States. We are a drug free workplace and background checks are required for employment. The position offers a competitive benefits package. The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years experience in a project engineering capacity in an industrial environment, have experience developing project scope and design specifications, preparing budget estimates and cost justifications, establishing project schedules, creating parts and equipment lists, conducting technical reviews of design work and conducting project review meetings. Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be a self-motivated person with strong leadership and organization skills. Some travel may be required. Good written and oral communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft products are essential. A basic knowledge of an AutoCAD based drafting pro-gram is helpful. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
