Marketing Technician

The Opportunity:Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Marketing Technician position. Marketing Technician Responsibilities: Create product demonstrations for tradeshows, conferences, and training under the direction of engineers or more experienced technicians; travel and attend events to promote SEL solutions. Assemble, wire, set, and configure equipment with a high level of workmanship and care. Design, implement, and test human-machine interface (HMI) screens using HMI software packages under the direction of engineers or more experienced technicians. Assist manager with special projects and support marketing staff as needed. Assist with SEL Relay Rack updates; coordinate with SEL Web Master and other personnel as appropriate. Follow and improve area processes.Qualifications: Associate of Science in Engineering Technology (ASET) or Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or equivalent Working knowledge of modern test equipment Working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Experience with an HMI software package (e.g. Wonderware, ClearView) Willing to travel up to 20% Technical training, speaking and writing skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of electric power systems equipment and practices An Award Winning Company Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
