Inspector II
Waukesha Engine manufactures large, spark-ignited, gaseous fueled, reciprocating engines. Waukesha also packages Enginator engine-driven generator sets. Our products are widely used in field gas compression, power generation and other mechanical drive applications. In addition, we are the only ASTM-listed manufacturer of the Cooperative Fuel Research (CFR) engine, used to test and qualify the octane and cetane value of gasoline and diesel fuel.
We are looking for a talented Shop Inspector to join our growing team. This position is open to an experienced Inspector. Responsibilities for this position include, operating and maintaining manual CMM equipment, performing mechanical and open plate layout inspections, and inspection of castings/forgings. Have the ability to advance to a programmer level. Strong blueprint and GD&T interpretation skills of both casting and machining prints; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; experience utilizing OpenDMIS is a plus.
