$20-30/hour, depending on experience and education 24 hours/week, potentially thru 2009, with flexible work schedule
CVPS is accepting applications / resumes for an experienced professional to assist the Environmental Affairs Manager with ensuring compliance with land use and environmental statutes and rules regarding construction, reconstruction, and relocation of transmission, substation and distribution facilities, to include CVPS buildings and related facilities.
Individual will review line extensions submitted by field personnel to determine jurisdictional requirements of Act 250, wetland, and other State and Federal environmental regulations. Will coordinate with others to ensure permit application and requirement compliance. Will also apply for and obtain permits as required, assist with ensuring compliance regarding hazardous waste and materials, etc. Ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies or related field.
