Job ID: 1287Position Description: SunGard Consulting Services is currently searching for a Microsoft Developer – Responsible for the design, coding, and testing of Microsoft Solutions. Microsoft Developers can also be involved with design and development of components of a reusable object framework while working with a Microsoft Architect. In general, Microsoft Developers are encouraged to develop their knowledge in all aspects of the Microsoft Platform. From project to project, they will be expected to grow their knowledge in the Microsoft Platform with the ultimate goal of becoming a Microsoft Architect. This position will require travel to Baltimore, MD.Position Requirements:Required Technical Qualifications: *2-9 years experience in systems development*2+ years development experience with Microsoft .NET*2+ years C# experience*2+ years PL/SQL or T-SQL experience*Familiarity with Enterprise Library (Application Blocks) is a plus*Java (J2EE) experience is a plus*Proficient Oracle and/or MSSQL database Skills*Proficient OO Skills*Proficient with middleware (BizTalk and/or Tibco)*Certified or working toward Microsoft CertificationsPosition Attributes:Qualifications:*5+ years of proven experience in a development role*Demonstrated Financial Services and/or Energy-Utilities Industry knowledge a plus*Previous consulting experience is essential*Consistent attention to detail*Strong analytical and requirement gathering skills*Ability to communicate clearly with team members and client staff.SunGard is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
