Test / Repair Electronics Technician

Aribex, a world-wide leader in innovative radiographic technology, is seeking an experienced Electronic Repair Technician. The position's responsiblities and requirements are:Responsibilities:• Perform daily schedule of RMA’s and manage surface mount resources• Perform board inspection and rework• Ensure compliance with repair, quality and cosmetic procedures and standards.• Achieve standard test and repair times while adhering to documented procedures.• Evaluate and monitor repair processes and techniques, making recommendations for process and tooling changes. • Provide product training and technical support to new and existing members of the workgroup and technicians. • Work closely with Engineering to facilitate continuous improvement of repair processes and product reliability. • Demonstrate cooperation and willingness to work within a team oriented environment. • Stay abreast of changing electronics technology and updates in the area of test/repair of electronics.• Program and maintain an ECM Luna EXP pick and place and DIMA reflow ovenRequirements: • Associates degree in electronics (ET), military equivalent, or CET Certification.• Minimum of 3+ years of work experience in an electronics repair environment.• Ability to read/follow detailed oral and written procedures, bill of material, process and routings, detailed schematic diagrams and flow charts.• Ability to use standard and complex measurement tools and test equipment.• Ability to use personal computers and learn various software packages (to include familiarity with MS Office Suite). • Ability to demonstrate analog and digital component level repair capability.• Ability to demonstrate soldering skills to the current IPC-A-610 standards. • Familiarity with no-clean technologies, troubleshooting, and repair.• Ability to analyze research and resolve product repair/support issues (methods, procedures, etc.)• Good oral and written communication skills.• Must be a self starter and team playerAdditional Desirable Skills: • Knowledge of SMT processes, electronic components, and assembly techniques• A+ Certification
