Production Electronics Technician
Position: Production Electronics Technician
Position Type: Full Time (40 hrs. per week; M-F 8AM to 5PM)
Pay Range:
based upon experience
Duties/Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to the following)
Final touch-up and soldering as circuits are completed by the pick-n-place machines. Troubleshoot circuits that have failed testing. Determine problems and consequently fixes for the problems so that circuits can pass testing in preparation to be shipped to customers. Solder wire harnesses to printed circuit boards and through-hole components to printed circuit boards as needed. Test harnesses and circuits as needed in the production process. Build prototypes and other related circuits, test equipment, etc. as required by the engineering staff. General assembly and production work may also be required as needed by the production manager.
Qualifications/Required Experience:
Excellent hand-eye coordination skills.
Ability to maintain focus and concentration while doing detailed touch-up work for 6-8 hrs. per day. Working knowledge of electronics technology preferred.
Hands-on experience with soldering, troubleshooting and building circuits is a huge plus.Demonstrate high level of dependability and reliability.
Ability to work in a team oriented environment and learn new ideas/methods quickly.
Ability to work efficiently with little supervision.Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities using effective organizational and time-management skills.
Formal education pertaining to electronics engineering technology preferred.
