PCB Designer: Pro-E Experience

This is a position for an ECAD Librarian/PCB Designer. Maintains Cadence schematic and layout library symbols. Designs and documents high density, multilayer printed circuits, flex circuits, and accompanying drawings. Primary responsibility will be library support. 1. Develop, document, and improve process and library standards 2. Test and verify symbols, interface files, and documentation. 3. Enter data required for printed circuit design revisions. 4. Locate various parts observing all part restrictions and constraints. 5. Connect circuits using current computer aided design practices. 6. Complete printed circuit board artwork, drill and trim, assembly, silk screen, panelizing, parts lists, and schematic drawings describing a printed circuit or flex circuit. 7. Resolve design problems by consulting with vendor representative, other senior printed circuit designers or design supervisor. 8. Work within a team environment to fully understand projects and negotiate solutions.A successful candidate will have: an education in a technical discipline; at least 5 years experience in Printed Circuit Board design; ability to work with minimal supervision within tight schedules; attention to detail; exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask with a high level of accuracy in order to ensure assignments are completed on time; and exceptional written and oral communication skills.CAD Systems: Pro Engineer.
